Refund, Cancellation & Terms and Conditions

Governing All PMDAN Services and Transactions

1. Overview

This document sets out the Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, and Cancellation Policy for all services offered by the Project Managers Development Association of Nigeria (PMDAN), including membership, webinars, training programs, and certification. By making a payment or registering for any PMDAN service, you agree to these terms in full.

2. General Terms and Conditions

2.1 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing PMDAN’s website (https://pmdan.org/) or purchasing any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. PMDAN reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

2.2 Services Offered

PMDAN provides the following digital and professional services:
• Annual and associate membership registration
• Live and recorded webinars
• Professional training programs
• Certification and examination programs
• Events and conferences

2.3 Eligibility

Services are available to individuals and organisations with the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. PMDAN reserves the right to decline service at its discretion.

2.4 Payment Terms

• All fees are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN), EUR, or USD where applicable.
• Payments must be completed in full before access to services is granted.
• All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment providers.
• PMDAN does not store card details.

2.5 Intellectual Property

All content, materials, training resources, and certifications produced by PMDAN are the intellectual property of PMDAN. Reproduction, redistribution, or resale of any materials without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

2.6 Code of Conduct

All members, participants, and attendees are expected to engage respectfully and professionally. PMDAN reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to services for conduct deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or contrary to the values of the association.

2.7 Limitation of Liability

PMDAN’s total liability for any claim arising in connection with its services shall not exceed the amount paid by the participant for the relevant service. PMDAN is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

2.8 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved through negotiation in the first instance, and, if unresolved, through appropriate legal channels within Nigeria.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Webinars and Events

The following cancellation terms apply to PMDAN webinars and events:
• Full refund is available for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled event.
• No refund is provided for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event start time.
• Where PMDAN cancels or reschedules an event, registered participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future session of equivalent value.

3.2 Membership

• Membership may be cancelled at any time; however, membership fees are non-refundable once activated.
• Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current membership period.
• Members who cancel will lose access to member-exclusive benefits upon cancellation confirmation.

3.3 Training and Certification Programs

• Participants may cancel and request a refund within 5 calendar days of payment, provided training access has not been granted.
• Once access to training materials, recordings, or examination content has been granted, cancellations will not be accepted and no refund will be issued.

3.4 How to Cancel

To initiate a cancellation, please email [email protected] with:
• Your full name
• Transaction reference number
• Service to be cancelled
• Reason for cancellation

4. Refund Policy

4.1 Eligible Refunds

Training Programs Full refund Within 5 days of payment, access not granted

Duplicate Payments Full refund Verified within 5–10 business days
Failed Transactions Not charged No payment processed

4.2 Refund Processing

• All approved refunds are processed via the original payment method.
• Processing time is typically 5–10 business days, subject to the payment provider.
• PMDAN will confirm refund approvals by email.

4.3 Chargebacks and Disputes

• Customers must contact PMDAN directly at [email protected] before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or card provider.
• Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension of services and access.
• PMDAN will cooperate fully with payment provider dispute resolution processes.

4.4 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to [email protected] with:
• Full name
• Transaction reference number
• Service purchased
• Reason for refund request

5. Policy Updates

PMDAN reserves the right to update this policy at any time. Any changes will be published on the PMDAN website (https://pmdan.org/) and will take effect from the date of publication. Continued use of PMDAN services following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
